I found myself trimming down the flashing from the molding process, and also trimming the backside that sits against the temple side of the frame (where the "1" or "2" oval anchor point it) to the shocks to sit more flush with the frame. I went so far as to loosen the screws on the frames for...
Walleva has green, yellow, red, blue, gray, black, white and "purple" for the rubber kits. The T-shocks don't fit well at all, I have trimmed down several sets to make them fit better (for both the glasses and my head).
Basejumper Jeb Corliss wearing some Plasma/Ice Juliet's while basejumping! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhmzmOwkRuM&feature=colike You can see them hanging on his suit within the first 8 seconds...just something that I wasn't sure was posted or not, but neat!
Just one more add...I have two versions of the Juliet Polished/Polarized Fire, both are model number 04-119. One has a serial, the other has nothing, no SN, no model number. The Juliet Polished/Polarized Fire version that supersedes it is 04-147, this has the model number on the stem.
I'm not that worried, because I'm sure the fakes aren't made with Titanium. I'm even willing to bet they're made of mild steel or aluminum, which will bend or break the minute you put any kind of stress on them. I bought a set of polished Juliets with a bent stem, I ruined my aluminum...
Antoher giveaway that I know of if you are (or not) really paying attention is on the frame where the stems screw in, the "gap" leading from the stem to the templeshocks. That gap that adjusts the stem's "tightness" is non-existant on the fakes, at least from what I've seen on those videos...
The "pick" part was slid into either the upper or lower part of the arm/stem joint and used to pry it up or down to allow the stem to clear the pin on the frame. Not unlike doing it now with a small screwdriver.
I actually like both the Half-X and the Romeo 2. They look good on me, but since my Romeo 2's are NIB and the Half-X's are much less than perfect (eBay seller said they were excellent), I haven't given those any chances yet. I have new lenses for the Half, I may give those a turn after I put...
I have a particular set of Juliets (polished/fire polarized) that I bought that had a bent stem. I repaired/straightened it, and put some aftermarket lenses and rubbers on. Those see the most time, although I carry my X Squared carbon with VL purple lenses just in case I need to change it up.
