X metal is a composition of five different metals, only one of which is titanium. Can’t say for certain what exactly it is, but it does look like rust, and I did not want to mess with it because the whole piece is so untouched.

Just bought an XS on the Forum, Then bought a Bondhus .050 to tighten the nosebridge screws... ...and it SPINS!!! 1) So i got a stripped screw nosejob? (hard to see even under lit mag glass) 2) (if i keep them) How do i extract?

Still need that R1 Left Orbital? (I've got it in X-Metal)
