Basically your typical O-Store, theres a decent selection of special/limited edtions and a few X-Metals thats about all I can think of in terms of cool stuff. And to my knowledge there isn't any Vancouver/Canada edtion that exists.

Your best bet would be the O-Store in Metrotown, after that there's not really a whole lot other than SGH and sporting goods stores. As far as sales tax there is 7% PST and 6% GST and FYI theres a rougly 20% price difference between Canada and the US. Of course theres always Craigslist too.

Started with the house brand glasses from a local outdoors store, then a pair of Smiths. Ski goggles have always been Smith for me.

Same thing goes for my new Racing Jackets, the box said US but it wasn't on the ear socks like they'd normally be.

Nice pick ups, I've got crosslinks in the same colour!

I'm lovin them so far, super light, fits great especially with the unobtanium on the nose. The only gripe issue I can potentially see is the hinge points on the arms being a bit of a weak point if it gets dropped or something.

As far as I've seen the majority of Rx frames are made in china.

I've got sunglasses ranging from $30 "sport" glasses to a pair of Smith's and of course all my Oakley's and I can tell you that I can easily see a difference in clarity between the cheap stuff and my Smith's and Oakley's.

I bought a pair of X metal/ruby Juliets from my local O-Store last month and the guy I talked to said that they were "cobbling together" x metals from parts. He even said that they were getting some Plasma/Ice polarized ones, a few weeks later voila those plus another pair of ruby's. Go figure.

You probably could, the frame measurements are normally on the arms or on the inside of the bridge. It looks like its been discontinued though I don't know how easy it will be to find another pair.
