03-148 Matte Rootbeer/Fire? Current Gen

Could anyone tell me about these? I've been trying to hunt a pair down to go with my Gen 1 matte rootbeer/fire but I've had no luck at all. Looks like they were a Q2 2008 original release.

Seems like it is one of those pairs that is significantly rare, but just never got a lot of popularity like 24K's, so less people know about them.
