I suppose the thinking was that if they didn't provide them in a case, then people would look at them and think they were provided in a Christmas cracker.

A major clue to them being fake is the fact that the people who made them neglected to leave out the hammerstems. Oakley uses straight temples for the juliets now. If they were legit they would have straight temples.
