The military does issue Oakley items to special forces especially gloves, boots and goggles. Oakley's boots were designed for spec ops.

Elite groups purchase gear outside of standard issue all the time, including weapons and whatnot, that doesn't make it "military issue".

And to be perfectly frank, Oakley's gloves and boots aren't any better than several other alternatives. Sometimes they cost less, which is why Oakley has the USSI program.
