Adjusting Minute Machine Bracelet.

Looking for advice/tips on adjusting a Minute Machine titanium bracelet.

It looks a simple case of removing surplus links with an allen key although the manual says 'it should be done at an authorised oakley timepiece dealer'.

Is there anything to be careful of when doing it myself?
