Send him a box w/ a prepaid stamp, if it does fit the mailbox then scheduled USPS mailman to pick it up. I have done this countless of times on a Craigslist purchase.

How do you cover the payment part? I find the sellers that don't want to ship are usually not savvy with Paypal and such.
