Any Way To Tighten Gen 1 Metal Hinges?

Frogskins

I have a pair of gen 1 frogs (made in Japan with metal hinges.)

One of the arms is very loose (just tilt the glasses and the arm closes.)

Is there anyway to tighten it?

I was thinking unscrew the screw and detach the arms. Then use a needle nose pliers to gently squeeze the hinges to make them closer/tighter.

But I don't wanna ffff them up!

Anybody ever done this?

Thanks ...

You have to be very careful of breaking them in that case... I won't try to do so.
Can't you just tighten the screw a bit? Another option might be to source some small shims... Oakley uses them also, for example on the vintage e-wires.
