You need to lock it yourself under "thread tools"...

the only options i get under thread tools are edit title, add poll, create poll. I looked up how to lock in some of the other threads. Is there another way?

Ah nevermind a recent change has been that posters can only lock their threads in the exchange sections instead of anywhere; technically this is a conversation thread (really it should have been posted in the exchange but it doesn't really matter now)...

So otherwise you're better off tagging specific mods to lock it instead of just making a general plea and hoping they stumble across it @OakleyBoss @Oakleynerd @xmetalmaniac etc etc etc
