I love the offroad. Not so much the truck stuff, but buggies and UTVs. Ive had a bunch of toys over the years.

It's a 2005: 5.3 v8 crew cab, short box with the z71 shock/skid plate package.

That's a great truck with a solid engine. But there are two things you gotta watch out for with that truck, especially if you drive it off road; the wheel bearings and the drive shaft/u-joints. These tend to wear prematurely on late model silverados.

Thanks for the head's up! Since the wheel base is so long though, I don't have any extreme off road adventures planned. I'll keep on eye on those parts though and be sure to take it easy.

Just bought the new 2013 silverado a few weeks ago. Now just have to wait and see what problems GM has created with this year's model. :) Now my poor Ranger can finally get some rest.

BF goodrich all-terrain ... good all year long and not so expensive.

I have a 2010 Jeep wrangler sahara unlimited with a 4 inch lift kit and 35"x12.5" tires :D me likey snow and mud

Finally was able to get a picture of my truck! All nice and clean! I got a pretty sweet floor jack and some jack stands for my birthday, so I'll be able to do some work on it now. :D

I can't wait to get a picture of this thing covered head to toe in mud though either.
