I thought about 3inches to compensate for the incredibly long wheel base... but unfortunately, if it does get a lift, that will be in a while. I want it done right, so all of my u joints and connectors are going to be replaced.

I have some plans for mine. I've got a piggy bank set aside for truck mods down the road. First thing is first though, I need a flush fitting chest for the back, or wheel well tool boxes. A roof basket with a set of flood lights. If the basket has the capacity, I would like to move my spare up there, as well as the usual off road tools (shovel, hi-jack, fire extinguisher, etc.). I've got a pretty big backyard to play in here in Wyoming.

Nice truck though A. Nothing wrong with a good ol' toyota! It will last until the end of time.

And to the OP, the 5.3 vortec engines are great, lift that sucker and beef up the drivetrain a bit. BFGoodrich all terrains FTW
