I concur; amazing what a simple tagging can instigate...

We all will die someday, but the loss of lives in this attack is a tragedy.

Terrorism isn't about body count. Just look at the Iraq War, ignoring Afghanistan - over 200,000 people have been killed there since it started, about 2/3 of them civilians. Over 30,000 insurgents have been killed. Nearly 5000 coalition forces, about 9/10 of them US, have been killed. More troops have died in Iraq than civilians the terrorists killed on 9/11. But a lot more terrorists have died...

The fact is they can't match us head-on. We're much better killers than they are. All they can do is make us afraid, it's their only weapon. Strike us in our civilian centers; we spend so much in the aftermath on security, police presence. People are afraid to go to public events. The terrorists can strike anytime, anywhere; live your life in fear, that's what they want, that's the goal. It's not the violence; it's the threat of it that has the power. If you let it...

So, mourn those who lost their lives before their time. And live your life without fear; the vast majority of us they will never directly touch. Fear them, and they accomplish their goal... Don't let it happen.

And threatening violence when you can't back it up is chickenshit blustering. Terrorists aren't nearly as capable as they want you to believe.
