You can remove the clip from the frame and use most standard lenses without issue. I've found some lenses are a bit too tight, and old Gen1/Gen2 lenses have smaller frame hooks and don't work with newer frames.
The other option if you need to keep the clip for ballistic standards is to drill the retaining hole. Realistically the clip is only for military requirements that the lens not come free of the frame during impact. This is why a lot of friction fit systems have a clip, either secondary like the M Frame, or integrated like some of the Revision or ESS pairs.
There are no "Pro" specific M Frame items other than the frame. I know some lenses and rubber are sold as "Pro" but they're 100% interchangeable in my experience.
