Book Of Eli Inmate (contains SPOILERS)

Surprised no one's guessed this: Light with Black Iridium Polarized
Light is more of a silver frame in its true essence but still has some shine to it in the right lighting.

I don't think it is Light either. It's hard to tell from my screenshots but the frame reflects a lot, Light is a flat silver finish.

Rustpot I gotta admit here, I just looked at the eBay auction on my computer (I was looking on my phone before) and those are indeed it. A lot of the Polished Black finish was worn off, kudos Rustpot.

I might try to replicate those on my own.

From the Oakley website, it says they're polarized, and it has this quote from the director.
“A lot of it has to do with the way Denzel looks in those glasses,” says Hughes. “The frames and the way they were distressed. It was everything, man. It really set that character on fire.”

So I would assume from that they're MPH glasses. They never looked mirrored in the movie, so my money is still on warm grey and Oakley just saying they were polarized. No etching, but it's not like they couldn't have that left off for the movie.

It also says Denzel took several shots with a pair that sounds more like a retail set, so the promo shot above may be polished or light frames, and the prop people may have used the black and given them distressed look by brushing/polishing 95% of the frame except the tight crevices. Or even painted the frames with some black and took it off all but some tiny spots.
