Broke My M Frames Today

It's just paint. Get a pair on the cheap and rattle can some dayglo orange on there.

Actually happened inside the Oakley store. I took them off my cap to show them to an employee and then crack. Everyone around me including myself were shocked. Anyone have experience with this? Wondering if it is due to age. Very upsetting.

There was the main culprit...especially with the older frames that have been used regularly. Wearing on your head and stretching results in weakened frames over time as mentioned already. But wearing them over a hat is a killer. Maybe hit up Dr. Chop and see if he can fix them if you really like that frame?
