C Six Prices?

What's a good price to pay for a pair of aluminum C-Six's? Retail? Has anyone been able to get them for less?

Prices have been rising in recent month, a few months ago you could have got one for $1100 range...

Less inventory available so higher prices come into play....

I thought Oakley only made 1500 of these. Any idea why on Oakley.com it says "Order Now. Estimated to ship on 2012-08-13"? Are they making more? Also I just noticed Juliets are back in stock now as well.

I know #1500 has been made because i know who had it.

Yea I know that. Strange that they'd go out of order, but I'm pretty sure they're still not done

i think they engrave all the titanium spines first and store them in parts boxes. when they need to assemble a pair they just pick parts out of a box randomly. that may be one reason why you would find 1500 shipped out before number 856.

Just because they have a few still in stock doesnt mean they are still in production.

If there are stores that have them and they don't sell, I think they can send them back to Oakley...so they may have some that are in the process of being shipped back.
