yep, for me its a surprise that there are still pairs remaining in the market... i thought they were sold out a long time ago!

That's what I thought when another forum member scored a pair in store either earlier this year or last year. He got a stupid crazy discounted price at the time as well because it was just sitting in the back as old stock.

Congrats on a great investment and even greater buy if you managed to score more than one.
I get so demotivated collecting O's whilst not living in the US as all of that is so out of reach for us in Europe - we already pay approx 60% more here in the UK on all brandnew O's in the Oakley stores (and online) and quite a few Ltd models are not even released here. Sigh the life of an European collector is hard ;-)
