Oakley changed the mold during the production of the New Straight Jacket.
Somebody knows in which year?

I have one of these in pearl white w/ black iridium bought in 1997.
these are the real and original Straight Jacket. I think they were launched in 96.

That's a Straight Jacket, not New Straight Jacket.
Both pictures are NSJ!

My carbon NSJ is the only one with the dimples in the frame, the date on the box is 7/24/01

Is there an illustration (glasses) on the front-end of your box?
I have and let's call it dimple pair: 08/29/02 rev. A (black chrome)
Both of my carbon fiber are non-dimple. Unfortunately I don't have a box.
I believe the later produced pairs (2001-2003) have dimples.

Yes, its the black box with the striped wrap sticker and the front view on the end. Dann or Monster Beetle my be someone to ask on this.

Do you have information on the order of colorways released, or did they come out with the whole line at once?

My FMJ Red is non-dimpled, but I don't have a production date for it.
