the xsquared case works fine, you just have to put it in at one particular angle. there is the old xmetal soft vault that is exact same design but smaller by a fraction- thats too small

should be- theyre both the newer shape cases. i had a thread on this awhile ago (maybe 1 year). see if searching the forum will turn it up

I use Xmetal soft faults for mine as well. Like Brip said the newer ones are bigger and you have to angle it in just right.

I agree with Brip. I have an R1 that fits my X-metal soft vault case. It is not a perfect fit, but it works and offers your R1 some degree of protection. Unfortunately, it (SKU# 07-266) is not currently available at Oakley.com. Try Ebay. I purchased one from Ebay last week for $34 (free shipping), used but in good condition.

Mine R1's fit my x-metal soft vault. almost like an exact fit, but it feels safe and protected in there. I got 2 several months back on ebay for 26-27 bucks new.

No. The only X-metal that will fit in it is the Penny. I use one for my Penny and it provides more than enough space inside.
