Sheared screw head and the rest of it is there holding the gasket in place. Yeah. Not happy.

And to add insult to injury, I'm having to listen to Coldplay while on hold for customer service. :mad:

***UPDATE***

They're paying for expedited shipping to fix the problem free of charge. Which I expected them to do... but good luck getting the damned thing out lol
 
I guess they didn't use a torque wrench attachment ....... Some of they don't realize they don't need to tighten them a lot
 
I've gotten back worse. Earstems overtightened with washers coming out, rusty hardware not replaced etc. Seems the tune up prices have increased and the service quality has decreased
 
remove the gasket and it looks like theres enough thread to unscrew with a needle nosed pliers.get a new T6 torx screw from mcmaster-carr.
