    When i do a search the results come up in absolutely no kind of order - aka a mess..:headbang:
    Is it possible to get the results shown i chronological order ??

    Search may be pulling the strongest most likely results first them keywords. Idk

    If you use the "Search Forums" tab toward the top left of the page rather than the search box on the right, it gives you the option to order the search results by most recent posts...

    Yup ditto what has been said. The search function automatically sorts by relevance, similar to Google, but you can choose to sort it by date if you prefer.

    On a related note, I was thinking it would be nice if the date parameters had more flexibility.

    Right now you can search for posts "newer than" a certain date but you cannot search for posts "older than" or "between" certain date(s). With search results limited to 200 items, I've run across a situation or two lately where that additional functionality would have been useful.
