How is everyone cleaning their aluminum display cases? Ive got some minor stains on mine and have tried numerous cleaning solutions. I don't want to use a grainy polish because I want to save the finish and not end up having it polished. Any input out there?

  2. I believe @kronin323 did a review of a few different polishes and metal cleaners. Try doing a search and see if you can find it, or maybe he'll chime in with a link.

Would these work equally as well on the black cases?

Mother's polish, no - it says it's not recommended for "gold plating, chrome, anodized, painted, or coated metals".

Sheila Shine, maybe - it says it's also effective on "chrome, aluminum, brass, Formica, porcelain, fiberglass, plastic, leather and more" and only not to use it on cooking utensils or, due to slipping hazard, on floors. So it doesn't sound like it'll hurt it; the question is if it gives the desired results.
