Cleaning Microbags

Is there a particular way to do it that doesn't cause the fabric to start fraying? Is handwashing the way to go with some warm water and detergent? Hang dry?

yep, hand wash with some hand soap. I just filled the sink with some warm water and added a few drops of hand soap (soft-soap), swished it around, then rinsed. Let them air dry and they were as good as new!
