Do the frames get cleaned in a tune up?

If not, are there guides for cleaning polished, plasma, and X-metal frames?

cleaning? like any other pair really. lenses out, all rubbers off. mild soap and warm water. clean the lenses and rubbers too but seperately. the key to plasma frames is to rinse thoroughly and dry thoroughly.. the polished and XM don't mind as much. remember- ins in soapy water does more good than harm compared to letting oils and dirt eat away at the finish over the years, just cos you're too chicken or lazy to dunk em in water. biggest mistake ive seen out there.

Found a thread that suggested sending polished frames to a jeweler. Gonna give that a shot. Thanks for the reply!
