I have selection of Xmetal frames on my display. Sometimes I was thinking the x metals a bath coz I have 1st generation ones. My question now is, how do I clean them? Some said that I'll use mild or dishwashing soaps. Others tooth paste.. Is it safe? How do u clean yours. Polished frames are easy. I'm thinking of the x metal frames such as Juliets, r1, xs, xx.. Thanks in advance

I just use Oakley's lens cleaning solution to clean both frame and lenses. It gets the job done.

Mild soap and water is perfectly safe in my experience. I've cleaned plenty and had no problems whatsoever.

I remove the nose and temple rubbers, wash them separately and refit once dry.

I just use hot water and hand soap. Qtips to get the hard to clean spots.

BE CAREFUL as to which "mild" soap you use on lenses!!!!!!!! There are abrasives in some soaps and you will scratch your lenses! It will appear as bad "cleaning" marks. The microfiber bag wont scratch the lenses, just use water or the oakley lens cleaning solution and wipe them off.......

My TiO2 / Black X-Metal XX's have some green corrosion on them. Any Suggestions on cleaning this?
