Cleaning X Metal Frame

So for the Oxidation the consensus is WD-40 or Silver Cleaner?

Is there a particular soap you would recommend?

Personally I use plain Dawn dish soap to clean my glasses after getting them really sweaty or dirty. But I am new to the X-Metal game.

I have always bought eye glass cleaner with no ammonia but willing to try soap.
