These are my Mint Romeo's with fire lens new. The bollox m8. I have a pair with the black lens to. Best x-metal Oakley made.

Oakley never did a copper Romeo. This pair have been plated. The penny copper are worth around £450 mark. Most desirable penny is the x-metal with ruby.
The Romeo's are worth less when modified. Collectors mainly want good clean unmarked originals.

They did indeed make a few copper romeos.

Have you got a link to where I can confirm this? I have been a collector for 20 years and all the info says there were never any made. The biggest Oakley site O-review sites the only three that were made. X-metal grey, plasma, and titanium. O-Review

They weren't production, but there were a few samples.

They can't be serialized if there were a few samples meaning it would be hard to say whether they were coated by Oakley.

I understand what you're saying though. Now that other people are doing them, it's tough to say
