@xlnZax I'm pretty sure he is planning to chop them to have a nose piece like the Radar, attached to the top of the frame, to hold the lenses in place.

Oakley doesn't have any half frames that aren't jackets or wires/metals.

Did a quick tear apart last night. The lens stays in fine, but the orbitals lost all rigidity. The lens needs to be glued in or the orbitals reinforced with some JB or something.

Photos and details to come later tonight when I'm home from work and after a quick trip to the hardware store.

The frame is still sitting, haven't had time to work on it, and I got sick after an extended weekend.

Crazy things like my garage door motor pulling itself out of the garage ceiling have been going down.

I'd be happy to send it along to someone else. The frame orbitals are cut above the cheek, just need to glue in a lens after cleaning it up some more or build up some material on the brow portion of the orbitals to keep the lens changeable.
