Crazy Idea To Protect Lenses

How about just taking care of your stuff?

Totally my first thought too.

This sounds like another case for agony uncle Dr Herbsley's surgery . . . .

Dr Herbsley writes:

Adding another layer not designed for your Oakley sunglasses kinda defeats the point of wearing "the most sophisticated eyewear on the planet". You might as well wear knock-offs or £1 Shop shades.

To be fair, the OP did start his post by saying he didn't know anything about Iridium and light refraction though.
There's a good video on YouTube about why Oakley sunglasses are the best, including how Oakley lenses treat light.

I kinda agree with the goggles thing, but yeah, that is for a different main purpose. I wouldn't go motocrossing in my Romeos, for example, regardless of how many layers of film I place on the lens. <shudder>

So, let's all just be careful with our stuff, day-to-day.
We'll call it "The Batwolf Rule".

(And if anyone throws a football at us - OUCH! - let's have a rule there too, where they must first shout "Heads up, dude!" or "Yo, catch!".
If it helps, call it "The Dr Herbsley Rule".)

Case solved.

Dr. H.

Like I said, "crazy thought". The mind wanders during work meetings.

And just for the record, I take fanatical care of my Oaks. But even so, I'd like to think of anything extra I could do.
