The "right" piece of foam has failed, much easier to cut a piece to replace that than the shaped piece. I have "sacrificed" good foam from less important boxes to replace decaying foam in LE boxes, so that is an option too.

WASH the bag but DONT ever actually use it; I am not sure if its one of those old school sandpaper bags or not, but I am sure you can find a bag that will be much kinder to the Crater!
