imported from a non-european member and its value is above 22euros will be taxed.
But there is always one but... due to workload etc they let sometimes packages of greater value
to pass free.They pay more attention to electronics,heavy stuff.This they block it for taxes.
To sum up it is at the customer officer's discretion to pass or hold one package.
When the package has been sent by ups,fedex,dhl they are all taxed because there is profit
in the above transportation companies.
When someone sends to Greece something using his local state postal service for example
usps from us, singapore post from singapore then the greek local state postal service is responsible for distrube it
and then things are more loose.
