Delamination of prescription Whisker Sunglasses

I have this beautiful Oakley Whisker sunglasses that are prescription lenses.
I've babied them ever since I got them.
BUT both lenses are showing a delaminate of the inside coating. Lencrafters will not fix them. a replacement set of lenses is north of $360.

They are about 4 years old with no scratches or blemishes. Any chance that Oakley can fix this defect?

If this is common, then my next pair wont be a set of Oakley's.

Welcome to the forum.

This will happen with ANY lenses that have the coating on the backside REGARDLESS of brand.

Saying that your next brand won't be Oakley because of it is just stupid.

@Chris A Hardaway can confirm the same thing unless I'm wrong. If I'm wrong then sorry. Good luck with whichever brand you switch to.

Other sunglasses I have that are way older... 10-12 years older don't have delamibation. None of them do.
All are prescription.
