Differences Between Polarized Lens ("Cutting Light Color")

I have noticed, that Oakley's poloarized lens behave differently when cutting reflected light. Different lens replace the reflecting lights with different colors. Here are my observations concering the polarized "cutting light color":

Amber Polarized: Red
OO Red Iridium Poliarized: Purple
Black Iridium Polarized: Black
VR28 Polarized: Black

Needless to say, that those lens, wich "replace" the blinding light with black have the most effective polarization effect.
I tested it when looking on my computer screen: With those lens, which have black, the screen becomes totally invisible. With those lens, which have a color, the screen stays still visible, although very hardly.

What are your experiences with Polarized lens?
