E wire 1.0 prototype

Anyone here know the value of a NIB 1993 e wire prototype? ("Pre-release/Prototpye" label on box)

Supposing its genuine, I would guess it's worth as much as a vintage Russian oligarch would pay for it.

Do those boxes go together? The corrugated E-Wire box is correct, but the prototype box is additional, and looks like an X-Metal or Magnesium inner box from later on in the 90's.

Pairs don't really come with multiple boxes unless they fit into each other, and it doesn't appear that is the case here.

Rustpot, yes, the boxes fit together and this is from 1993. I simply opened the boxes up to display the frame

That Oakley metal plate glued on the box is pure vintage e-wire.

Thats a cool pair, not sure the prototype adds any value but cool none the less.
