Update: They are, in fact real.

And now they're mine. After working with the guy (who originally wanted cash) we worked out a trade. Cost me my distressed silver Jury, an old beat up USSI Gascan (neither of which I ever felt fit me properly), and an Oakley display card holder, but I think it was worth it. The nosebridge is slightly looser than I would prefer, but definitely not in desperate need of a tune up - though some new earsocks are likely the next investment, as these are pretty worn (they readily spin around with little resistance). And there are a couple very minor scrapes on top of the orbitals. He recently put new VR28 Black Iridium polarized lenses in there (and included the previous polarized black iridiums - not sure what use they are, as they're pretty scratched up.)
