Normally only 2 pipes in the rear after the mufflers allow flow. The other two have valves that open or close depending on throttle position and rpm range.

You can actually control it with a remote if you like Just gotta buy it and hook it up. Easy enough.

Chevy is toting the camera as a cool valet mode tool. You put the car in a "valet mode" and the camera will record every single thing the car does including speed and whatever else until you "unlock" the car from that mode.
So you can play back exactly what happened while you were gone.

It also raised some concerns because it does audio as well. But given what some dealers mechanics have done to these cars during service I would still get it as a feature.
