Fix minor scrape in fire iridium

Good afternoon!

I have a pair of Caveat's with fire iridium lenses. Recently, I discovered a minor scrape I'd like to fix if possible. I read about toothpaste as one fix and baking soda or another. Are either of these appropriate for these senses and has anyone tried this? Thanks!!

Your lenses are 'trashed'. Using either of the above 'treatments' will obliterate any visual acuity to your already damaged lenses
Two options, see if Oaklwy have a spare set still, look out on eBay or get a custom cut done by a variety a amazing cutters.....ok, three options.

I've heard of toothpaste removing oxidisation from car headlights but not repairing iridium coating.

if you cannot find OEM or are not particularly bothered about genuine Oakley lenses then see below.

I have tried it on old lenses in the past. Worth a try whatever result you get

The iridium coating is only 3 microns thick, and any scratch is going to be deeper than that.
