Based on the pics I think I could safely obtain a 5.56 frame and pop some +Red lenses in it and have myself what I'm looking for. I was almost positive when I bought my original set back in the 90s that they were a 5.56 frame. Thanks for the help @GRFMotorsports!

This is what I was going to do until I got my FMJ W. You really wouldn't know the difference unless you put them together. Even then you can't tell the difference in a picture.

I've noticed one thing that would set them apart. The Oakley on the nose bridge is a different color. The FMJ 5.56 is black, the FMJ W is silver.

Yup. I can see the differences now. It wouldn't be a "true" FMJ W if you took the 5.56 frame and put +Red in it. Thanks for that @sharjt and congrats on the 10w40! Hopefully we'll see the complete collection soon!

Writing is more of a grey than silver. Also the 5.56 is showing that bronzing effect as well.

Yeah, I'm looking to find someone who can "fix" the nose bridge on mine. It's faded but still there. Just needs "painted" again.
