my r2s are shelf queens because of the lenses and rubbers. i really dont want to go aftermarket. then i stumbled on some old lenses that i had replaced and decided to notch them to fit...

okay had extra lenses, g30 blue iridium notched to fit...

still a little feminine, the lens color doesn't help, maybe some ice iridiums next...


no "tail" in the lens and this was just a fit test, left is the original and the donor is on the right.

Really want to try this frame in the future. Been seeing a lot of people lately talking about them in a more positive light than when I first joined this forum.

I like em, but i never wanted to wear them because of scarcity of parts, esp the lenses. If i find the time to fit some OEM donor lenses Which is what this thread is about and they dont look half bad, they will be joining the rotation, R1,XMXX,XS,R2,hijinx,scalpel,antix,rinse,repeat.
