Gold Iridium

Anyone have an idea why Gold Iridium was phased out? Personally, I love the regular and polarized version. I liked the iridium coating that the bronze version (and polarized) lacks.

Just curious if anyone has an answer.

It my favorite too ...,no idea why they make a polished rootbeer frame for half jacket 2 but no gold iridium

Not that I'm aware of . I just bought a pair of Gold Irridium at the O store for my rootbeer Flaks . I also just saw some on the O website.

Yes they do still make for flaks not half jax i have always liked it better than Tungsten by far

Gold is definitely a nice lens to look through, but 24k is more flashy so i'm guessing more popular? Oakley seems to love their partnership with Shaun White and that guy loves the 24k lenses.
