I was about to buy some X metal rubber pieces a good sized lot with some red, blue, green, and black.
The auction did not have a buy it now price so I asked the seller if he'd take $125 for them.
He said yes and cancelled the auction then put up the Buy-it-Now auction.
I was refreshing my page about every 30 seconds or less from my phone and as soon as I saw it, it had already been bought.

I bet it was someone on here..........no hard feelings thats how things go on ebay, win some lose some.

Same thing has happened to me before, Haha. Definitely sucks. Go through all the work of talking someone down in price and someone else grabs it!

Ask them to make it a pre-approved bidder auction, then it can't be bought out from under you.

Most sellers have a hard enough time trying to figure out how to edit an auction much less make it an approved bidder auction.
