Hatchet Question

a guy at work here brought in a pair this morning,it has oluminum engraved on the left lens,hatchet ce on right arm in white,they are a painted silver color.just wanted to check authenticity.
 
Rubber is next to impossible to find.....Valve pads are good replacements....not sure about socks.....

They are in a league of their own. Not really a wire or an x metal. The orbital sections of the frame are stiff with no flex at all. If your head geometry is is narrow then they may work. The hinges are a spring style but don't give much to offer in the way of flex fit. If you never tried them on, they are one of those pairs that will or won't fit. Replacement parts are no longer produced and even trying to find stuff is near impossible without buying a beat up frame. They are light weight and have great contours. Don't drop them as the frame is aluminum and will dent and twist.
