Okay fellow Oakley Friends,

I ordered myself a pair of hatchets after a long while wait. I was able to find an excellent deal. Did turn some heads with the mercury cear.

Unfortunately I accidentally knocked one of the arms last night. Fortunately though i was able to find the miniscule plastic part. Now here's the situation: The spring is still sitting in its place intact but I have tried a lot to get the tiny plastic part to sit in and get the arm back in place but to no avail.

I have attached the pictures of all parts so if anyone can help me out on how to do this, it would be a huge help. Thanks guys in advance.

I can't tell exactly by the pics, but I believe the plastic piece has a slightly beveled round part that sits tight in the spring. Did that piece break or is it in tact? I was thinking superglue if it did break..

Hmmmm, I never thought about superglue yet but that does sound like a pretty good idea. Will get to woek on it tomorrow. Thanks a tonne dude

Goodluck lesson learned on that one i own the titanium clear once i sold it because the spring broke and when i tried to fix it it was damn difficult i sold that one and got me a new pair and will nor tamper with the hinges again.

Okay, well then how much did you sell it for man? Because I believe nobody will buy it now, as It is broken. So what's it worth now? Or shall I just post it up on ebay see how much it will go for?

That was a long time ago. I believe the mint ones can go to 250 nowadays. You can sell the broken ones for parts.
