Texted with one of the Ti guys and he said either concentrated warm HCl or electrolysis with either NaCl or NaF keeping the voltage below 8V

Some of us have labs at work it isn't too complicated, but NaF and concentrated HCl might be hard to find in stores..

Glad it came out and all went well, but that was very time consuming.

A bit time consuming, but cautious task pays off... not to rush & damage the orbital. and especially it resolves the worry, the bad feeling looking at the beloved toyed handicapped
