So I was lucky enough to finally get a chance to come aboard the R1 train! I found a good set for sale through a friend of a friend... I got the Titanium R1's three pair of aftermarket lenses, the Ruby are still installed as I am waiting for the original gold iridium to show up. I am going to disassemble and give them a good thorough cleaning in the next day or so since they need it. I am sooo happy to finally be one of the cool kids :dance3:
But seriously, I do like the way they feel and look on me. They are a bit heavier than my XS Ducati's but that is ok and I am also going to swap the temples out for some 15's to release a bit of pressure even though it isn't bad but I can see it irritating me after a few hours of wearing them. I plan on picking up a set of the original rootbeer rubbers for them and rocking the crap out of them!
