No, I'm not going to become more accepting. I'm going to make things conform to me.

Got a Crosshair from member btr, polished chrome frame with VR28 black lenses. I thought I'd be ok, but the polished chrome frame just feel gaudy.

It took a little while, but I stripped the frame down. Just look at it, sitting there and just shining. Bleh. SO pretentious.
I hate polished frames. Let's do something about that. - 642A0734-CFA5-4BE0-9BC7-E3F55D9B28E9-1286-00000116078FEE97_zpsd47ec00d.jpg

A few hours with some 1500 grit sand paper, and the finish is toned down quite a bit. It's still chrome, still shines. But it's a lot more pleasant. I didn't get every spot 100%, so some of the nooks and crannies still have a polished finished. But they feel and look more like natural metal frames.

I'll get some better pics if the sun comes out.

Looks better to me. I am not a fan of polished either.

    Nope. It's called diversification.

I'm kind of stalled on M Frames. Don't know where I want to go with the collection. I need 2 lens shapes, and a small handful of colors, and I'm constantly trying to score some new frame colors on ebay. People are still bidding on them.

Not much left on the list right now. Going to sell my Radar probably. No more Ten colors I want. So I've added a Deviation and a Crosshair, and likely a Plaintiff Squared soon.

And I've got 3 NewFrog colors left, just lying in wait for them to pop up.

Not too bad looking. What matters is that you're happy with them. :thumb:

Look great to me. Too bad I can't pull off the Crosshair.

Wore them out for a quick trip at lunch. It's not a bright day, but they're so much better than polished. The frame has a nice weathered look since its still got polished finish in the low spots and nooks.

Not sure how close to lead it is. I'd say similar to light but not an even finish.
