FYI the car in the first picture is actually missing the SPINNER part of the wheel. What you see is just the background from the rim, typically the overlay would have matched the color of the car.

During my lunchtime crack-n-ho run today, I captured this one in the wild:

It's hard to see in the pic but there are actually little spikes sticking out from the end of the hub; they looked like they spun independently...

What I wonder is if they're actually metal or just some cheap chromed plastic that would shatter to bits if they actually came in contact with anything. Maybe I should chuck a spear or something at one sometime and see what happens...
