Truckers and hobbyist. When nature is working I can talk the world. There's a lot to it. Antenna theory, solar cycle, wave propagation, atmospheric conditions. Then you have ohms and how to drive an amp vs voting or not voting the amp. Terrain. Then you have the next guy with different conditions a few hundred miles away. That's for ssb mode then you have am mode.....plus fm.... so like my 148gtl does 40 am 80 ssb channels. My general Lee does am 40 fm 40 then 40 for a through f band with a 10k switch to split all those channels. So my general Lee has 920 channelsSimilar threads
