So I picked up a slightly beat-up time bomb a few years ago and wore it daily. it was a little big for my scrawny wrist, so I had always been casually watching for an Icon to pop up in good condition. Meanwhile, last November, I decided to try a MM, since although it was larger, the strap adjusted more snugly to my wrist. Then on Monday I found this 9.9/10 Icon on the Bay, made a respectable, but low for the condition, offer and they accepted. It looks like it came out of a store this morning. I'm almost afraid to wear it, but it's so comfortable, I'm gonna risk it. A good day indeed. Now I just need another aluminum box for the Time Bomb and a box for the MM... Thanks! Turns out the capacitor's shot on the Icon. Dies after about an hour. I'm waiting to hear back a repair place that replaces seiko capacitors.
